DrawLink is able to take a clients paper drawings and either scan and convert them into CAD drawings or we can take them and actually redraw them in CAD format.
Architectural
DrawLink can scan and convert your Architectural floor plans with as much precision and detail required. Our Architectural software allows us to maintain the highest level of consistency. Layers, symbology, text styles, are all controlled by software and experienced CAD drafters. Our process allows us to have complete control over dimensional accuracy. We will convert any type of architectural plans specific to your needs.
GIS/Mapping
Automation is our specialty with your manual drafted maps. We utilize several software packages to create intelligent mapping files complete with “Z” elevations. After scanning, the image is orientated and rubbersheeted to fit provided coordinates, i.e. UTM’s. Multiple images can be easily “stitched” together into a single drawing file. Our Imaging software provides semi-automatic processes in vectorization and annotation of the drawing. The result is a clean digital map file with continuous polyline contours.
Engineering:
Drawings of all sizes and disciplines can be scanned and vectorized to suit the CADD requirements of various engineering firms. We often scan and rubbersheet the images to existing CADD files to create cost-effective methods of drawing production. Provide us with standards, custom blocks, and in conjunction with lisp routines and macros we will effortlessly develop new CADD files “User Ready” for further engineering work.
